About Patricia

Patricia trained with the Family Mediators Association in 2019 and mediates all issues arising from separation and divorce.  She also completed the ‘Mediating Disputes’ course at Harvard Law School in 2022.

Prior to training as a mediator, Patricia was a family law barrister.  She was educated at Trinity College Dublin, the London School of Economics and the Inns of Court School of Law.  Called to the Bar in 2006, she specialised in family law, having also practiced criminal and civil law.

Patricia’s legal training and experience provide a firm foundation for her work as a mediator.  She understands first-hand how lengthy court processes can entrench and escalate conflict and often lead to unsatisfactory outcomes.

Through her training and experience, Patricia possesses the skills necessary to navigate even the most challenging family law issues.  She is dedicated to providing a compassionate and empathetic approach to mediation, recognizing the emotional and psychological toll that family conflicts can take on all parties involved.

She firmly believes in the power of collaborative problem-solving and strives to create a supportive and neutral environment where families can openly express their concerns and work together towards agreement.

Patricia is a member of Resolution and the Family Mediation Council and works to the FMC Code of practice.  She provides private mediation online or in person in central and Southwest London.
